ALONG THE STREAM
postcard project + installation, 2008
This project works with found postcards depicting different solutions of the so called Tangram game which was announced in Czech Blesk magazine in 1993. Readers of this magazine were supposed to set together a picture of a boat from geometric pieces, stick it on a postcard and send it to the redaction.
However the publishers did not realize that the boat is actually too big to fit the postcard...
Different ways of solving this problem led us to create geometric objects that did not fit to the gallery in the same way as the paper pieces of the boat did not fit to the postcards.
